Description
_A spectacular 1980’s lilac color formal gown is a statement piece for the spring and summer season. Constructed out of a lightweight polyester fabric. Features thin shoulder straps with a sweetheart style neckline trimmed in flared lilac ruffles which are made using a thin plastic cord threaded through the fabric to give the desired shape and fullness. Bust darts along the front and princess seaming on the back of the bodice for a fitted shape.
Many yards of fabric have been used to create the exceptionally full skirt and showcases four rows of ruffles cascading throughout. Delicate floral blossom attached at the right side of the bodice completes the look. Skirt is lined underneath in a lilac satin fabric. Back zip closure. In excellent vintage condition with overall light wear consistent with age. Has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear. No designer label. Size tag reads 9, refer to measurements below for fit.
