The layered kerchief panels flutter with every breeze, while the contrasting florals create the impression of vintage scarves gathered together into a single garment. Photographed beneath the garden trees, it seemed exactly where it belonged—a piece waiting patiently for another summer decades after it was first made.
Its original retail tag remains attached, preserving a small piece of its history and making it an increasingly uncommon example of unworn 1970s fashion.
