Garden Studies
Garden Studies is an ongoing series devoted to woven landscapes, pastoral scenes, decorative textiles, and objects photographed outdoors in natural light. By returning these pieces to the landscape, details of color, texture, craftsmanship, and narrative emerge in ways that traditional studio photography rarely reveal.
Each study explores the relationship between object and environment, documenting not only the textile itself but also the atmosphere, history, and visual storytelling woven into its design.
Within this collection are pastoral tapestries, scenic woven panels, needlework pictures, coverlets, botanical textiles, and decorative objects whose imagery reflects the enduring connection between gardens, landscapes, and domestic life.
