Soft peach Gunne Sax prairie dress by Jessica San Francisco with ivory lace detailing throughout. This romantic late 1970s maxi features a sheer lace bib front, high lace-trimmed neckline, long sheer sleeves, fitted waist, and a flowing tiered skirt finished with lace near the hem.
The back ties into a soft bow, giving the dress shape while keeping the silhouette light and airy. The peach chiffon color is especially beautiful in person — softer than blush and warmer than pale pink.

Curator’s Note
Some Gunne Sax dresses feel playful, while others feel almost storybook. This one falls somewhere in between. The peach chiffon and ivory lace give it a softer, quieter look than many of the brighter prairie prints from the era.
The layered skirt and lace sleeves move beautifully, and the color photographs especially well in natural light.
