Description
A radiant designer 1960’s gown constructed out of a butter yellow chiffon fabric. Sleeveless style with a serene V-neckline and delicate draping of this piece flows gracefully to the floor. Bodice is accented with gold beading in geometric patterns with loop trim on the lower part. Attached full length chiffon sash at each shoulder trimmed with marabou feathers on the hemline. Fully lined in a yellow synthetic fabric on the interior. Invisible back zip closure. This was a restoration piece when I received it and there has been substantial work done on the garment to bring it back to life. In good vintage condition with some call outs. The chiffon on both underarm areas has detached likely from the stains that are still visible. This could easily be fixed by having the gown altered to a smaller bust size which would eliminate the damaged areas. A small amount of wear is also present on the shoulder areas from years of hanging in a closet along with some minor marks on the lower part of the piece which are hidden in the folds. Professionally dry cleaned. No size tag, refer to measurements below.
